Kolech – Religious Women’s Forum

Congregation Netivot Shalom invites the entire community to participate in a unique and timely dialogue with Dr. Hannah Kehat, the founder and executive director of Kolech-Religious Women’s Forum-Israel’s first Orthodox Jewish feminist organization-about the challenges of Orthodox feminism in Israel. As current events in Israel make clear, it is extremely important to bring these issues to the attention of all concerned men and women in both the United States and Israel. Dr. Kehat, who holds a PhD in Jewish Philosophy from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, is one of Israel’s leading experts on the interface between feminism and religion, and the discussion promises to be thought-provoking.
